Lonnie T. Munn, 61, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, at Plano Specialty Hospital.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Lonnie, the son of Dewitt & Estella Bullock Munn, was born March 15, 1955, in Memphis, TN.

He attended Greenwood, Mississippi schools and graduated from Hatley High School. He then attended Mississippi State University. His career as a loss prevention supervisor for Walmart spanned thirty years. Lonnie then worked for Wells Fargo before becoming owner and operator of C & C Guitar.

He had been a member of the Elks Lodge and the Blues Society. Lonnie participated in many charity benefits by donating guitars and other items from C & C Guitar.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include three children, Bradley Munn of Richardson & his fiancée Laura Weddle, Casey Munn of Sacramento, CA and Shelby Munn of Leonard, the children’s mother, Darra Munn of Paris, two sisters, Wilma Jean Cantrell & husband Hank and Rita Ann Hargett & husband Jeff both of Mississippi, several nieces & nephews including Miranda Seales & husband Ryan, his beloved dog, Todd, along with many friends.

Casket bearers will be: Cody Hill, Rhett Malone, Clint Hallum, Brandyn McNeal, Dr. Walker Putnam, Dr. Nathaniel Logee & Jerrard Henderson. Honorary bearers will be: Lawrence Ashford, Jonathan Conder, Tommy McCullar and Charles McNeal.
