Roger Dale Butler, 60, of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31st, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hudgens officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Roger, the son of Jack R. & Lillie Mae Myers Butler, was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Paducah.

He served in the U. S. Army. His career with Kimberly-Clark spanned ten years, and he then drove...

Roger, the son of Jack R. & Lillie Mae Myers Butler, was born Jan. 9, 1955, in Paducah.

He served in the U. S. Army. His career with Kimberly-Clark spanned ten years, and he then drove five years for P. J. Trailer Mfg.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack R. Butler, his paternal grandparents, Leonard & Russie Butler and his maternal grandparents, Occo & Gertie Myers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Ellis Butler, whom he married twenty-three years ago, his mother, Lillie Mae Butler, of Paris, children, Brent Butler of Sweetwater, Brian Butler & wife Jennifer of Mineral Wells, Stephanie Bradley of Paris, David Bradley of Paris, Michael Simpson & wife Kera of Denison and Billy Simpson & wife Amber of Paris, a cousin whom he considered his adopted sister, Deb Stanphill of Powderly, grandchildren, Matthew Butler, Marc Butler, Luke Butler, Brandon Butler, Jacob Sunberg, Hailey Simpson, Michael Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Shawn Simpson and Emily Bradley, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Michael Simpson, Billy Simpson, David Bradley, Brian Butler, Matthew Butler, Tony Perry & Bobby Jones.
